Promi

Your AI.
Your rules.

Promi is being built as customizable AI infrastructure: one system that can coordinate models, tools, memory, projects, permissions, and approved automations around how you actually live and work.

Promi

Private where practical. Connected where useful. Controlled by you.

How it works

The intelligence is only one layer.

Promi is designed to decide what context, model, tool, permission, and workflow make sense for a task instead of treating one AI model as the entire product.

01

Context

Projects, preferences, instructions, and approved memory can persist so you spend less time rebuilding context.

02

Models + tools

Different local or cloud models and external tools can be used for different jobs.

03

Permissions

You decide what Promi may access, what needs approval, and which low-risk workflows may run automatically.

Capabilities

Built as infrastructure, not a single chatbot.

Promi's intended advantage is control over the system around the AI.

Personalized context

Long-running projects and approved memory can persist across sessions.

Interchangeable models

Use different models for different jobs instead of locking everything to one provider.

Project management

Coordinate research, coding, testing, documentation, and follow-through over time.

Verification

Important outputs can pass through independent checks before they are accepted.

Local-first options

Compatible work can run on hardware you control while cloud services remain optional.

Automation with boundaries

Approved workflows can automate repetitive work without removing human oversight from consequential actions.

Comparison

Different by design.

Siri, Alexa+, and ChatGPT are mature products with broad capabilities. Promi's target is different: a user-configurable layer that can span your chosen models, hardware, projects, tools, and rules.

ChatGPTConversation, reasoning, research, creation, coding, memory, projects, and connected apps.

Promi is in development. This comparison describes product direction, not a claim that Promi currently exceeds these mature platforms.

Efficiency

Compute-conscious by architecture.

AI has a real energy and hardware cost. Promi's design goal is to avoid using more compute than a task needs and to reuse capable hardware where that makes sense.

Use the smallest capable model

Routine tasks should not automatically invoke the largest model if a smaller one can do the job reliably.

Reuse existing hardware

Compatible PCs and mini PCs can become part of a private AI setup instead of requiring a new device for every user.

Route work intentionally

Local, cloud, and hybrid processing can be chosen based on capability, privacy, latency, and efficiency.
